Johnny Buscema Jr. is the esteemed President and CEO of Safe Structure Designs, a Christian-based global leader in defense contracting, providing ergonomic safety-first support equipment to branches of the U.S. military, including the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, U.S. Coast Guard, and Special Ops. Founded 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada, his company has risen to prominence in the U.S. defense sector, specializing in designing, engineering, and manufacturing customized solutions tailored to military needs.
The comprehensive product line of S.A.F.E. caters to air, land, sea, and space initiatives. With seven manufacturing facilities spread across the USA, each site boasts unique capabilities that support the Department of Defense globally with American-made products. He credits his success to his faith, often quoting that "although we oftentimes don’t understand what Jesus is doing in our life, if we are obedient and faithful to the word of God, then when it’s revealed to us later we will not be disappointed… And that is because Jesus never lets us down."
Before his venture into S.A.F.E. Structure Designs, he led All Metal MS as President, CEO, and majority partner, pivotal in tripling the company’s gross sales and output over six years. His early career in financial investing provided him with vital financial management skills, which are crucial in navigating company operations, negotiating with creditors, and restructuring debt.
In 2001, he joined John Hancock Financial Services, quickly climbing to the top tiers of the financial sector. By 2005, he had launched his land development company, Stylistic Designs Developers, in Tampa, FL. The company focuses on residential, commercial, and medical facility construction and upholds a reputation for ethical management practices.
Born in Long Island, NY, and raised in Florida, he studied at the University of Florida, where he was an outstanding hurdler on the men’s track and field team. Despite a career-ending injury just before the Olympic trials, he has remained involved in the sport, coaching at various schools across Florida, Nevada, and Illinois. He started with John Hancock as a financial and investment advisor, rapidly advancing to establish a satellite branch.
In 2010, he shifted his focus to All Metal MS, enhancing its safety solutions for the aviation industry, which set the foundation for his later success with S.A.F.E. His leadership at S.A.F.E. is defined by Christian values and a commitment to customized defense solutions, assessing and meeting the unique needs of the Department of Defense through innovative designs that prioritize safety, efficiency, and ergonomics for service members.
A passionate philanthropist, Johnny Buscema Jr. and his wife, Fulvia Santoni Buscema, have supported numerous charitable projects, including building Christian churches in underserved areas and distributing thousands of toys to disadvantaged children in Las Vegas. His portrayal of Jesus Christ in local theatre has impacted over a million people, deepening their relationship with Christ. Johnny Buscema Jr. continues to lead with a spirit of generosity, guided by his deep Christian faith and dedication to improving the lives of others through his business and philanthropic efforts.
